GENK and Friends - Perfect Ten

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Hong Kong Cultural Centre, Gabriel Kwok, Eva Lue, Nancy Loo and Tam Ka-kit, have formed the GENK, and will play Johann Sebastian Bach’s “Concerto in A minor for 4 Pianos” under the baton of Sharon Choa and the accompaniment by the Chamber Orchestra of The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts.


The quartet performed at the opening of the Hong Kong Cultural Centre back in 30 years ago, and will also collaborate with six other veteran local pianists this time – Enloc Wu, Margaret Lynn, Betty Woo, Eleanor Wong, Poon Chui-fun and Choi Sown-le and perform an array of works including Brahms’ “Hungarian Dances”, Dvořák’s “Slavonic Dances”, Wilberg’s “Fantasy on Themes from Bizet’s ‘Carmen’” and the world premiere of Julie Kuok’s “Merry Collage 3X” for 5 pianos.
