29 Nov

The Arts Ambassadors-in-School Scheme forms a new synergy of artistic talents to promote the arts, and encourages them to use their artistic gifts to serve the community.

Arts Buddies

Over 90 Arts Ambassadors and 20 university students formed the first cohort of Arts Buddies. Professionals from the arts and culture sector invited to speak at the seminar series included: Professor Lo Wai-luen, Professor Bernard Lim, Teddy Robin, Professor Dominic Lam, Leung Wing-chung. Tsang Chi-ho, Choi Yan-chi, Professor Tam Chi-sing, Dr Lo Wai-luk and Yeung Sau-cherk. Through establishing a community of secondary students and their tertiary seniors in which the two are brought together to take part in a series of seminars, workshops and arts learning activities, Arts Ambassadors empower themselves with knowledge of the arts and skills in arts appreciation to deliver the common vision of promoting the arts and using their artistic gifts to serve society.

Arts Ambassadors-in-School Volunteers

Former Arts Ambassadors joined the Arts Ambassadors-in-School Volunteers to give back to the community and share the joys of art through arts-related volunteer services. This is the true spirit of “Live in Art, Thrive in Sharing”. The Volunteers teamed up with the Hong Kong Society for the Aged (SAGE) for A Wonderful Life Journey, Arts with the Disabled Association Hong Kong for a Flag Day, Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra for Festive Drums for a Roaring New Year, Radio Television Hong Kong for the Unveiling Concert of Artspiration.
