Cultural Leadership Youth Camp 2014
Fostering young leaders Striving towards goals
2014.8.6-8
The Cultural Leadership Youth Camp 2014, an initiative under the Arts Ambassadors-in-School Scheme, is jointly organised with the Advanced Cultural Leadership Programme (ACLP) of The University of Hong Kong (HKU) with the aim to nurture future generations of arts and cultural leaders.
Bringing to the ACLP a wealth of valuable hand-on experience and knowledge from years of working in arts administration, local and overseas arts and cultural leaders will engage Arts Ambassadors in a range of activities, such as role plays, thematic studies and case studies, shedding new light on the qualities and strategic skills and abilities that make a future arts and cultural leader in general, and topics of interest such as the production and operation of a performance and arts organisations. The camp fosters a group of arts enthusiasts from different secondary schools, enabling them to develop leadership skills and cultural networks for their future careers in the arts and cultural sector.
